It should come as no surprise what a fan I've become of the Memory Lane Show, heard on the SoundsofPhillyRadio.com. Growing up in Philadelphia in the late 50s and 60s, we'd have our radio glued to WCAM Camden listening to the original Blavat and Kal "Big Beat" Rudman there, as well as Jocko and the rest of them on WHAT and WDAS. When people ask me what my first concert was, they're surprised to hear it was Ike and Tina Turner at the Uptown. No one else like me had this same ear for that kind of music then, and few people I know now share the excitement of those sounds heard over again. Each night when I say my prayers, I thank the Lord for internet radio, bringing the greatest music ever made. And, thanks to you, Barry, for being part of it.

Hang on Barry, Hour Two had sweet old rock and roll. My wife and I have rolled back the carpet, salting the hardwood and shuffling to the music. Also the Horn Band hour was awesome! I cannot remember Mr. Horn's first name.

Barry Rosen this show playing great Perry Como, Eddie Fisher and Joni James female artists featuring GREAT orchestration! Barry's voice is well-piped but throttled-back to not blow the rest of us wanna-be jocks away. Great personality! Velvetones, Four Aces, Yes Oh Yes! It almost sounds like the sophomoric voice of Tommy Sands leading the Hilltoppers. If it were, you would have told us. So, I guess it wasn't. Ha ha.
